On April 11th, a memorandum was signed by Caritas Tuenmun Marden Foundation Secondary School, from Hong Kong, and GDUFS, agreeing to cooperate regarding admitting their students into our university for all-English learning of International Business.
Attendees for the signing ceremony were HU Haiyu, General Administration Manager of Government Education Bureau in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; HU Jianyuan, Chancellor of Caritas Tuen Mun Marden Foundation Secondary School in Kong Kong; YUAN Guoming, President of the secondary school; GONG Wan, Director of China Education Exchange (HK) Centre; ZHOU Guoping, Vice Director of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Affairs Office of Education Ministry in Guangdong Province; JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS; CAI Hong, Director of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office and Liang Hong, Dean of Institute for International Education.
The cooperation memorandum was signed
JIAO Fangtai extended our warm welcome to the representatives from the Hong Kong counterpart and gave a brief introduction to them about our education characteristics, construction goal of a high-level university with distinctive international characteristics as well as the state of progress concerning overseas students education and management at GDUFS. Also during the ceremony, HU Haiyu expressed hope for cooperation with mainland universities on behalf of the secondary school in Hong Kong, looking forward to common development and progress of both parties through cooperation.
Subsequently, the cooperation memorandum was signed by the representative of Hong Kong counterpart HU Haiyu and that of GDUFS, Liang Xuehong.
