During the autumn semester of 2024, Institute for International Education, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (hereinafter referred to as IIE and GDUFS) will offer Chinese training programs, and the application starts on April 1, 2024.
As a key university renowned for its distinctive international characteristics in South China, GDUFS has been accredited as one of the qualified universities for CSC Scholarship and International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, as well as an HSK examination center. With over 30 years’ experience of teaching Chinese as a second language, the University has a highly specialized faculty of Chinese teaching. Based on the advantages of university internationalization and the rich experience and high-quality teachers of international students' Chinese training, IIE helps students improve their comprehensive Chinese levels and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture in a short period of time.

Program Highlight: The Program is divided into introductory, intermediate and advanced levels and the program focus is on Chinese comprehensive course and Chinese listening and speaking course, so that students can improve their communication ability in a short period of time; and the university provides the extracurricular courses such as calligraphy and martial arts; there are 26 innovative internship practice bases, and international students are regularly organized to visit.

II. Requirements：
1. Applicants must be eligible for student visa application and between the age of 18-35.
2. Applicants must be law-abiding and adhere to the university regulations.
3. Good physical and mental health. The tuition fee will not be refunded if the participant is unable to continue learning due to the sudden illness caused by concealing the health condition or fails to obtain the visa due to the personal reasons of the participant.
4. Other requirements deemed necessary according to Chinese law and university regulations.
III：Fees
Tuition: RMB 8600/semester；RMB 17200/year
Application fee: RMB 500 (For First-time Applicant only)
Insurance: RMB 400/semester；RMB 800/year
(Compulsory according to relevant Chinese regarding international students studying in China)
Dormitory fee: RMB 4800 per person per semester (double room), RMB 2400 per person per semester (four-bed room).
* (1) Water and electricity fee and Internet fee are included. The exceeded part of water and electricity fee should be borne by students themselves.
(2)Dormitory arrangement is subject to final confirmation by the university.
