IIE Holds Opening Ceremony for 2012 Spring Festival
The opening ceremony for 2012 spring festival is held in the afternoon of Feb. 27th, 2012 in room 106. faculty members and guests joining the event are Dean Mr. Liang Xuehong, office manager Ms. Wu Yan, immigration officers Ms. Chen and Mr. Deng as well as new international students from more than 20 countries. The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Wang Yiqian.
Dean Liang delivered a talk in both Chinese and English, in which he briefed those in attendance on IIE programs, culture of Guangzhou, the University and the Institute. He also extended a warm welcome to new students on behalf of IIE.
Following Dean Liang’s talk immigration officer Ms. Chen and two student representatives also presented remarks.
Topping the ceremony, students recognized for outstanding performance received awards.
