the meeting being held
LIANG Xuehong, Dean of the Institute for International Education of GDUFS, gave a vivid introduction to his department. He said that Economics and Trade with the reported highest standard of whole nation, attracts most of the overseas Chinese students. What's more, if interested in Chinese literature, students can choose it as their optional course. Also, it is worth mentioning that overseas Chinese students with two-year work experience can earn an MBA degree that is still rare in China, especially since it is an all-English degree. GDUFS welcomes the overseas Chinese students to study for whatever length of time they wish. Amazingly, the college offers the students different workshops and classes including Chinese handwriting, lessons on Chinese musical instruments, martial arts, painting and more. Also, based on their backgrounds students are given a special orientation so as to be well acquainted with the school and Guangdong Province beforehand. In terms of living conditions, the students can live in an apartment equipped with facilities of an international standard and have a common kitchen. Furthermore, particular tastes in food aren't a problem. Foods from throughout China, not only from Guangdong fill the school canteen, not to mention the myriad of restaurants along the street outside the North Gate.
In a word, GDUFS provides a wonderful environment for overseas Chinese students to live and learn.
