On December 15th, a concert of Chinese music and dance was held at the north campus, it was the first program dedicated to the international teachers given by GDUFS. Despite the cold weather and heavy rain, the leaders, foreign teachers and many students attended the concert and had a good time. The concert was co-held by College of Art, the Teacher Development Center and Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of GDUFS, Mr. FANG Fanquan, Vice President and Mr. XU Guobin, Vice President of GDUFS and a number of teachers, including MS. WEI Taoying and MS. MI Yuan gave performances at the concert Mr. FANG a short speech appreciating the contribution made by the foreign teachers and extended his gratitude to them and then thanked performers for their hard work.
The focus of the concert was on classical Chinese songs and dances, which gave a vivid reflection of traditional Chinese art. The programs included folk songs, a baritone solo, a soprano solo, Peking Opera, as well as dance, all of which won the applause of the audience. The teachers and students from the

were the main performers, all of whom demonstrated their outstanding skills and capabilities in the typical Chinese folk song or the exotic belly dance.

Students from the Institute for International Education, imitating the popular television show in Jiangsu TV If You Are the One, gave a funny drama in fluent Chinese language. The cooperation between the teachers and the students and different schools not only gave great glory to the concert, but also manifested the strong relations and profound friendships between the foreign friends between our students in GDUFS.

, which brought the concert to its peak and was a great ending for the performance with all performers and guests posing for a photo.
