Documents required for online application:

（1）High School Certificate and transcript (notarized Chinese or English version must be provided if the transcripts are in other languages);

（2）Photocopy of New HSK 5 Certificate with score 180 or above (①An entrance interview or exam will be if necessary; ②Applicants of Chinese BA Program who have already passed New HSK4 with the score 180 or above could start directly from grade 2 while beginners will start from grade 1, for those who start directly from grade 3 are required to participant in the entering exam); TOEFL 70 or IELTS 5.5 above for applicants applying for English-instruction program from non-English-speaking countries is required, or pass the entering exam and interview organized by the IIE.*Applicants who have not yet taken the HSK test due to the COVID-19 epidemic may contact the IIE Admission Office for the latestadmission policy before processing the online application.

（1）For Postgraduate:Graduate diploma and bachelor degree certificate,For PhD:Graduate diploma and master degree certificate; Copies of academic transcripts (notarized Chinese or English version must be provided if the transcripts are in other languages);

（3）Photocopy of New HSK 5 Certificate with score 180 or above; Applicants need to attend interview if necessary;

（4）Copies of two recommendation letters from your referees. The title of your referees should be associate professor or above;

（5）Photocopy of passport main page and Chinese visa page (if have), and a 1-inch digital bareheaded colorized photo.

 

4. Scholarship: Scholarships only can be applied for when online application has been successfully submitted and has been approved by IIE Admission Office, otherwise, the scholarship application will be considered invalid.

（1）Guangdong Government Outstanding Foreign Student Scholarship:

Application is available every year. Once granted, undergraduate can receive a one-time subsidy of RMB 10,000, postgraduate RMB 20,000 and doctorate RMB 30,000. The subsidy will be transferred by the Guangdong provincial government to the student's personal bank account each year by the end of December.

（2）GDUFS (The University) Scholarship:Application is available every year. Once granted, it will be full scholarship (tuition for the first academic year is exempted) or partial scholarship (50% of the tuition for the first academic year is exempted).
